Classes are available for the following topics:

Basics of Babywearing

Learn about the benefits of babywearing and how it can aid your infant's development. We will discuss the different types of carriers that are available on the market and learn about the basic positions you can wear your baby in. You will also get a chance to try out different slings and carriers from my personal collection in order to get a feel on which carrier is right for you.

Basics of Infant Care

For first time parents, caring for an infant can be overwhelming. This class will teach you the basics of caring for your infant. Topics will include: diapering (cloth vs disposable), swaddling, handling your infant, infant safety, and non-medical infant care.

Private Classes

Private classes are available for anyone who is interested in recieving individualized instruction. Private classes can be individual or group.

~ Individual classes are $50 for a two hour course.

~ Group classes (minimum of three couples) are $40 per couple for a two hour course.

~ Gift certificates are available.

~ All class participants will receive a packet filled with information and resources.

Cloth Diapering Workshop

Thinking about cloth diapering but overwhelmed by all the choices and information available? I'll be more than happy to come to your house and explain the basics of cloth diapering. You'll learn about the different types of diapers, pros and cons to each type, how to store, wash, and care for your diapers, and how to choose the diapering system that would best fit your family's needs. All participants will receive a packet with information and resources.
The cloth diapering workshop is $40.00 for a two hour workshop and includes all materials.
